First Choice Emergency Room provides tours of the emergency room to local Girl Scout troops in order to help them earn their required First Aid Badge.

HOUSTON  AREA

"Teddy Goes to The Emergency Room" continues to be a great success in the Houston Region. The entertaining story of Teddy, an injured teddy bear visiting the emergency room has delighted and enlightened hundreds of young children in the Copperfield, Atascocita, Woodlands, and Spring areas. The program targets the young child and is designed to educate and eliminate the fears that are associated with physician visits. "Teddy Goes to The Emergency Room" is an interactive program and allows children to view actual equipment, have practical experience with emergency situations, listen to heart beats, and see actual x-rays.
